The Teachers’ Coach

About Me

My name is Trish – I am a coach and a teacher – I am The Teachers’ Coach.

Let me introduce myself…

I’ve spent the last 26 years of my life happily working as a class teacher; as far as I’m concerned, it’s the best job in the world!

At times, it has been an absolute joy at times and at others, incredibly hard work. I know how it feels to be so snowed under with “stuff” – planning, form filling and meetings – that you lose the joy – you forget about the reasons you became a teacher – to make a difference.

However, I also know how it feels to develop a clear vision of who you are as a teacher, to be able to focus on what you know is important and to have the confidence and self- belief to be true to yourself and your values. It’s a great feeling!

As a coach, I have learnt how powerful our mind is and how we can utilise this to create a vision of where we want to be and plan the way we will get there. I have developed a skillset of coaching tools and NLP techniques that enable me to help you to identify your goals, become aware of your reality, consider your options and begin to take action to move away from what you do not want anymore towards a new you – the person you want to be.

I will walk with you on your journey offering encouragement, challenges and support – all the things we need to move us to action.

As educators, we are open to learning new things that will help us to face difficulties and find our own solutions. Then – and this is the important bit – we go on to share them with the children that we teach.

My great belief is that we, as educators, have an incredible opportunity to make a difference. My passion in life is to share the skills I’ve learnt with other professionals in education to enable them to bring about change in their own lives and careers.

Imagine a world, full of people who have the skills of active listening, powerful questioning, visualisation, an understanding of how the brain works and how we can harness that power to achieve our goals in life –Wow! What a wonderful future generation we will have.
